Emily brings a passion for creating engaging and resilient spaces to her role as landscape designer at Genus. Emily recently graduated from Kansas State University, where she explored both research-based and collaborative, community-driven design processes. Emily’s interest in design stems from an appreciation for nature and a love for making. She believes that good design has the potential to bring people together, foster a sense of place, and create more resilient landscapes.
Outside the office, Emily enjoys Saturday morning trips to the farmer’s market, late night ice cream runs, exploring new places to kayak, and going on long walks.
