The Clive Comprehensive Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Plan examines Clive’s current park and recreation programs, proposes enhancements to the existing high quality parks system and develops a vision for future improvements. The plan recommends making these improvements in responsible short-term, mid-term, and long range phases. The dynamics of continued growth of any community require periodic planning efforts such as this to be comprehensive, as well as general in nature. Many of the recommendations in this plan will require further study and design, yet Clive’s leaders will be able to effectively set priorities and implement the plan in a fiscally responsible manner.
